CCIE Importance

What Does CCIE Stands For and Importance?

Cisco Certified Internetwork Certification (CCIE Certification) is a series of technical certifications for senior network experts who design, build, implement, maintain, and resolve issues within the company's complex network infrastructure.

The CCIE certification program is divided into six separate series or bands and includes: collaboration, data center, routing and switching, security, provider and wireless network.

Candidates for Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) require additional training in computer networks, such as basic training for network or network management. Both programs offer classroom and industrial training, as well as practical training through internships and work in computer rooms. Students in these programs must have a high school diploma or equivalent and sometimes require a minimum of work experience. Most CCIE candidates start their careers as specialists in computer support and work as managers. Some courses are related to the Cisco Networking Academy.

To obtain a high school diploma, candidates do not have to have formal conditions for the CCIE exam. However, before candidates pass the CCIE exam, Cisco recommends at least three to five years of networking experience. Private science or training workshops can offer candidates the skills they need to pass CCIE exams.
